PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
With the holidays soon upon us, we hope to see you this coming Saturday at Dorothy B. Oven Park for our Annual Holiday Party. This evening is a perfect way to begin the season in this lovely and festive setting. We want to send a huge thank you to Beth & Neil Charness for once again opening their beautiful home to host our fun Halloween Party with 40 members in humorous and imaginative costumes. Beth added fun, decorative touches throughout the house and prepared special dishes for our enjoyment. Excellent photos can be viewed on this website under Event Photos, from both monthly and interest group meetings. We thank Neil Charness for documenting the Club’s gatherings.
We encourage you to participate in the 29th Billy Bowlegs 5k and 1 Mile Walk on Saturday, January 5 followed by the Annual Bowlegs Brunch in Renegade Grill. On Sunday, January 27, we will be celebrating the annual Chinese New Year, the Year of the Snake, at Lucy Ho’s Azu. Linda & Bob Clickner have offered their home for Mardi Gras for Saturday, February 9. A Winter Dance is planned for Tuesday, February 26 at the American Legion, and we will attend an FSU Circus Dress Rehearsal on Friday, March 22. We are still waiting to get the actual date to attend an Open House at FSU’s new Aero-Propulsion, Mechatronics and Energy Building (AME) at FSU’s Southwest Campus. A Spring Dinner is in the offing for April with further plans yet to be made.
Holiday Greetings to all from Annelise Leysieffer

The cost of the Brunch is $6.00 to Faculty Club members, who are either race participants or volunteers and $10, the actual cost, for Club members and others, who do not wish to participate in the race.
The T-shirt is again designed by Austin Foos, the Leysieffer’s talented grandson. We are in need of volunteers to help direct traffic for the runners.
If interested in volunteering, or should you need fliers, please call Annelise Leysieffer at 893-1272 or e-mail her at aleysieffer@gmail.com. You pay for the Brunch on the day itself.
