Globetrotters

Begun in January 1974 by Diane Olsen & Shirley Zahn, the Globetrotters Interest Group satisfies our need to travel in a variety of ways. Gathering monthly to view travelers’ pictorial gems (usually slides or digital photos) and other treasures, this congenial group also shares travel hints and strategies, and obviously, whets one’s appetite!  Through the years, we have vicariously enjoyed almost the total globe.  Because our travelers share their specific interests and knowledge (music, geography, culture, trains, architecture, insects, etc.) each program is unique and informative!
Please contact Linda & Bob Clickner at rpclickner@gmail.com to volunteer new programs for the 2018-2020 academic year and to offer to bring refreshments.
We meet at the Maguire Center at Westminster Oaks. This is a wonderful location, and residents at Westminster Oaks can join us anytime.
