First of all a great big thank you to Linda & Bob Clickner for opening their house to host a wonderful Mardi Gras last Saturday, February 9. The evening was a great success.

Our next monthly event is the Winter Dance that will take place on Tuesday, February 26 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall at Lake Ella. Upon entering the hall, please tell them that you are with the Faculty & Friends Club to receive the discounted rate of $5. You can purchase beverages there. We are especially fortunate to have Ryals Lee, a professional photographer from F.S.U., to meet with us to talk about digital photography. He has many years of experience, taking photos of sporting events, meetings and special occasions. Feel free to bring your camera to the meeting to get more hands-on instruction, if you wish. Meet at the Wakulla County Welcome Center at 10:30 a.m or go directly at 11:30 a.m. or so to the home of Pat & Mike Meredith on the Ochlocknee Bay. As usual, bring a dish to share for a potluck meal. Lunch is to be followed by a hike for the ones who would like to get some exercise.
